Job Title: SEND Teaching AssistantLocation: BR1, BromleyJob Type: Full-Time, Long-TermStart Date: ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEND school in the BR1 area on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and make a meaningful difference to their educational journey.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.
\n
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
\n
• Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
\n
• Implement individual learning and behaviour plans.
\n
• Promote a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment.
\n
• Encourage independence and confidence in pupils.
\n

\n
• Previous experience working with children, ideally within a school or SEND setting.
\n
• A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
\n
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
\n
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
\n
• Understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other SEND needs is desirable.
\n
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
\n
