\nPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team covering Newport and the wider South Wales region.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst looking to join a respected consultancy offering a genuine balance of surveying and analytical duties across commercial and mixed-use properties. THE ROLE\nAs an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will undertake both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a varied portfolio of commercial and mixed-use sites throughout South Wales.
\nWorking independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards while maintaining full compliance with HSE guidance and UKAS procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n- \n

Delivering Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
\n - \n
Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing, and reassurance sampling in accordance with HSG248
\n - \n
Working across commercial and mixed-use properties
\n - \n
Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
\n - \n
Managing your own workload efficiently across multiple client sites
\n - \n
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
\n - \n
Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures
\n

BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)
\n - \n
Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, Asbestos Surveyor, or Asbestos Analyst
\n - \n
Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements
\n - \n
Ability to manage your own workload independently
\n - \n
Full UK driving licence
\n - \n
Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
\n - \n
