\n Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive manufacturer for Automotive Assembly Operatives to join their successful production team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work within a modern manufacturing environment supplying components to some of the world's leading automotive brands.\n

• Friday: 20:00 – 08:00
  
  
\n
• Saturday: 19:00 – 07:00
  
  
\n
• Sunday: 18:00 – 06:00
\n

Pay Rate: £16.87 per hour\n
\n
The Role\n
\n
\n As an Automotive Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality automotive components while working to strict production and quality standards. You'll be part of a fast-paced manufacturing team where attention to detail, reliability and teamwork are essential.\n
\n
\n Your duties will include:\n
\n

\n
• Assembling automotive components using a variety of hand and power tools.
  
  
\n
• Following work instructions and basic engineering drawings.
  
  
\n
• Operating production machinery and assembly equipment.
  
  
\n
• Performing quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
  
  
\n
• Using measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification.
  
  
\n
• Meeting production targets whilst maintaining excellent quality standards.
  
  
\n
• Working safely within a busy automotive manufacturing environment.
\n

What We're Looking For\n
\n
\n Successful candidates will have:\n
\n

\n
• Previous experience within an automotive assembly or manufacturing environment.
  
  
\n
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and assembly equipment.
  
  
\n
• The ability to work accurately to production targets.
  
  
\n
• A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  
  
\n
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  
  
\n
• A positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
\n

Experience operating press machines, CNC equipment or other manufacturing machinery would be advantageous but is not essential.\n
\n
