Title: Safeguarding Support OfficerLocation: Gilwell Park, E4 7QW (with Hybrid working ) 1 day present in office per week; that includes in person Team Meetings/TrainingsSalary: £30,040.00 Band D, Level 3 (Inclusive of Outer London Weighting)Contract : Fixed term 6 Month contractHours: Full-time (35 hours per week)The RoleSafeguarding Support Officer (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract) We are looking for a Safeguarding Support Officer to join our Safeguarding Team on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support the delivery of Safe Scouting across the UK.In this role, you will receive and respond to safeguarding enquiries and referrals, accurately record information, and complete a range of vetting tasks to support effective safeguarding processes. You'll need excellent customer service skills, some safeguarding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn new systems quickly while managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.The role is based at Gilwell Park.
