Group Supply Chain Assurance SpecialistBristol (Hybrid - 2 days home)Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Excellent BenefitsYolk Recruitment are supporting a leading Food Manufacturer with the recruitment of a Group Supply Chain Assurance Specialist to join their growing group function.This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturing business in a newly created group-level role where you'll work across multiple UK sites, helping to shape supplier standards, improve supply chain performance and support the business' sustainability commitments.Working closely with Procurement, Technical and Sustainability teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring suppliers meet the highest standards of food safety, quality and ethical compliance, whilst driving continuous improvement across the wider supply chain.If you enjoy building relationships, analysing supplier performance and influencing positive change across a business, this could be the ideal next step in your career.This is what you'll be doingAs Group Supply Chain Specialist, you'll support supplier performance and compliance across the group, working collaboratively with both internal teams and external suppliers.Your responsibilities will include:Managing and continuously improving the group supplier assurance programmeAssessing supplier performance across food safety, quality, sustainability and ethical complianceReviewing supplier audits, HACCP, VACCP, TACCP, allergen management and traceability documentationWorking alongside Procurement to onboard and approve new suppliersSupporting supplier improvement plans and driving continuous improvement initiativesMaintaining approved supplier records and ensuring all documentation remains compliantProducing reports and analysing supplier performance data for senior stakeholdersSupporting sustainability initiatives and helping the business meet its wider environmental commitmentsCarrying out supplier and internal audits where requiredBuilding strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across multiple UK locationsThe experience you'll bringPrevious experience within Supply Chain, Procurement, Supplier Assurance or Technical ComplianceExperience working within the food manufacturing or FMCG sectorStrong knowledge of supplier assurance, food safety and quality management systemsUnderstanding of HACCP, VACCP, TACCP and BRC standardsExperience analysing supplier performance and managing riskExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsHighly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesPassion for sustainability and continuous improvementFull UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel occasionally between UK sites in Wales and EnglandAnd this is what you'll get in returnSalary of £45,000 - £50,000Hybrid working (2 days from home each week)Monday to Friday working pattern33 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays)Christmas and New Year shutdownEmployee discounts across retail, supermarkets, travel, leisure and entertainmentDiscounted gym memberships and wellbeing benefitsEye care scheme, financial wellbeing supportLearning and development opportunities across a growing multi-site groupPension schemeFree on-site parkingAre you ready to make an impact?This role would suit someone who enjoys working across multiple teams, improving supplier performance and driving high standards throughout the supply chain.If you're looking for a varied group-level position where you'll have genuine influence over supplier quality, food safety and sustainability, we'd love to hear from you.Please note: Due to high application volumes, we can't respond to every applicant.
