Job AdvertPhysiotherapy AssistantOaklands Hospital, Salford Full Time, 37.5 Hours We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team at Oaklands Hospital based in Salford.The roleThis is a varied post and involves a mixture of clinical duties on the ward alongside the inpatient team and in the outpatient department. Clinical duties include working alongside physiotherapists on the ward seeing orthopaedic patients and in the outpatient team assisting with post-operative rehabilitation classes and physiotherapy pre assessment clinics. There will also be the necessity to support the team with administrative duties.This position would be an ideal opportunity if you are looking to broaden your knowledge and skills, or intend to train as a Physiotherapist in the future.The physiotherapy department delivers a structured in-service training programme, underpinned by regular clinical supervision, mentoring, and peer group support. The job involves the safe moving and handling of patients and equipment so the successful applicant must have good physical health to meet this need.We are looking to employ a motivated individual who enjoys working with people.
