Design Manager

I'm recruiting on behalf of a growing façade contractor that is looking to strengthen its design team with the appointment of a Design Manager. The business delivers façade packages valued between £1m-£10m across both new build and re-cladding projects, working with leading main contractors throughout London. The Role Managing façade design from pre-construction through to completion. Coordinating architects, consultants, structural engineers and specialist suppliers. Reviewing drawings and technical submissions. Managing RFIs, design changes and approvals. Ensuring designs comply with Building Regulations and project specifications. Supporting project delivery teams throughout construction. Rewards & Benefits £65,000 - £85,000 salary. Car allowance. Pension. Annual bonus. Excellent career progression. Long-term pipeline of secured projects. Requirements Previous experience with a specialist façade or cladding contractor. Good understanding of curtain walling, rainscreen cladding and façade systems. Experience managing multiple projects. Strong technical and coordination skills. AutoCAD or Revit knowledge would be advantageous
