Sprinkler Design Engineer - Hybrid Working Salary/Package - £60k - £65k Basic + Benefits Location - Hybrid ( Manchester office ) Our client is an established fire sprinkler contractor who are looking for a 3D Sprinkler Design Engineer to join their team. This will be someone who can turn compliance requirements into elegant, well-engineered systems, not just a box-ticking exercise. You'll be working on commercial projects across the UK, taking sprinkler designs from initial concept through to installation drawings, all while keeping everything firmly within LPCB and BS EN standards. What you'll be doing Producing accurate sprinkler system designs using 3D CAD modelling and BIM coordination tools ( Revit ) Working from concept through to installation drawings, with LPCB and BS EN compliance built in from the start Liaising with project managers, clients, and site teams to keep delivery running smoothly Calculating hydraulic requirements and preparing technical submissions that hold up to scrutiny Staying current with the latest codes, standards, and best practices in fire suppressionWhat you'll need LPCB Basic Design qualification advantageous, but not essential Proven experience in sprinkler system design within the UK market Strong 3D CAD/BIM skills (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) Solid understanding of LPC rules, BS EN 12845, and relevant fire safety legislation Excellent problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detailWhy this role?
