The Role\n

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • \n
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils where required
  • \n
  • Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • \n
  • Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources
  • \n
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement
  • \n
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs, including those with SEND where appropriate
  • \n
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting
  • \n
  • A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
  • \n
  • Experience supporting pupils within UK schools
  • \n
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • \n
  • A flexible, reliable and professional approach
  • \n
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • \n
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • \n
