RF/PCB Design Engineer (KiCAD)

6 Month Contract

Bristol

Role: Contract Electronics/PCB designer to support my clients hardware programmes.
\n Scope of work:
\n Schematic capture and PCB layout
\n Ownership of the wider CAD environment - part libraries, symbol/footprint database, schematichygiene - not just layout in isolation

Essential:
\n Comfortable working in KiCad (primary tool of choice)
\n Experience with high-density digital PCBs
\n Strong grasp of differential pair routing and clearance requirements

Desirable:
\n Holds Security Clearance (SC) (Not necessary for immediate need, but a bonus)
\n RF PCB experience
\n High-speed digital design where RF experience isn't present
\n Willingness to act as a guideon Altium
\n Based in or near Bristol - regular on-site presence in the office is a plus; occasional visits acceptable otherwise
