Are you an experienced Aerospace Inspector, Quality Inspector or Mechanical Inspector looking to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer?
\nAn exciting opportunity has become available for a Blades Inspector Operative to join a busy quality team inspecting high-precision aerospace components. This role would suit someone with experience inspecting complex precision-engineered parts within an aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
\nWorking within a modern manufacturing facility, you'll play a key role in ensuring components meet exact customer specifications while supporting continuous improvement and maintaining the highest quality standards.
The Role\nAs a Blades Inspector Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out dimensional and visual inspections on aerospace components throughout the manufacturing process.
\nYour responsibilities will include:
\n- \n
- Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspection of aerospace blades and precision components \n
- Performing detailed dimensional and visual inspections to customer specifications \n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T \n
- Using a variety of inspection equipment including:Recording inspection results accurately and completing quality documentation \n
- \n
- Micrometers \n
- Verniers \n
- Height Gauges \n
- Shadowgraphs \n
- CMM equipment (where applicable) \n
\n - Identifying non-conforming products and raising quality concerns \n
- Supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions \n
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain product quality \n
- Following quality procedures, work instructions and health & safety requirements \n
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the inspection department \n
We're looking for someone with experience as an:

- Aerospace Inspector \n
- Quality Inspector \n
- Mechanical Inspector \n
- CMM Inspector \n
- Precision Engineering Inspector \n
- Manufacturing Inspector \n
You'll ideally have:
\n- \n
- Previous inspection experience within aerospace or precision engineering manufacturing \n
- Experience inspecting parts within a similar sector \n
- Ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing (GD&T) \n
- Experience using precision measuring equipment \n
- Knowledge of first-off, in-process and final inspection processes \n
- Experience identifying and managing non-conforming products \n
- Excellent attention to detail \n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively \n
- A proactive approach to quality and continuous improvement \n
- \n
- FLT Licence or previous FLT experience \n
- First Aid or Fire Marshal training \n
- Previous aerospace quality inspection experience \n
