Fire & Security Engineer – Plymouth- £17.50–£18.50 per hour (£36,500–£38,500 starting salary) * £17.50–£18.50 per hour (£36,500–£38,500 starting salary) * Door to door travel paid * Monday to Friday working hours * Permanent, full time position * Overtime available * On call rota with additional earning potential * Company vehicle and fuel card * Uniform, tools, equipment, and mobile phone provided * Company pension scheme * Paid annual leave * Immediate start available * Fire biased- ideal for those with previous security systems experience or those wanting to train in that area Fire & Security Engineer Overview: We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join an established team covering Plymouth and the wider South West. This is a predominantly fire focused role, making it ideal for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer who is interested in developing their skills across security systems. Fire & Security Engineer Role & Responsibilities: * Service, maintain, fault-find, and repair a range of Fire alarm systems, Intruder alarms, CCTV & Access control * Carry out approximately 80% fire and 20% security systems work. * Work across a variety of commercial and industrial premises. * Cover the South West region, with the majority of work based in Plymouth and some in Exeter. * Participate in a rotating on-call schedule. Fire & Security Engineer Skills and Experience: * Experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems. * A positive attitude and willingness to cross train into security systems if required. * Full UK driving licence. * Strong fault finding and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
