Job Description

Core Remit: Standalone, hands-on technical lead driving the execution of an enterprise Cyber Security Improvement Programme across Microsoft Cloud/Security, Identity, and Endpoint controls.

The Role

Looking for a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer to lead technical delivery on a major Cyber Security Improvement Programme across a complex enterprise estate.

\n

Reporting directly to the CISO, you will take total ownership of technical workstreams from architecture and design right through to configuration and deployment. This is a delivery-focused engagement where you'll act as the key technical authority across cloud, device, and identity security.

Key Focus Areas\n

  • \n

    Microsoft Security Ecosystem: End-to-end hands-on execution across Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, Entra ID (PIM, Conditional Access), and Intune.

    Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure: Securing cloud-hosted platforms across Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.

    • \n
  • \n

    Identity & Device Security: Designing and implementing robust identity controls, Zero Trust patterns, and endpoint security baselines.

  • \n

    Technical Ownership: Creating design documentation, technical standards, and runbooks while directly overseeing configuration and rollout.
