Products support critical operations across manufacturing, industrial processing, power generation, glass, heat treatment, environmental and process industries.About the RoleReporting directly to the Managing Director, this is an opportunity for an experienced Production Engineer to grow into a production leadership role over time. You'll take ownership of setting up and scaling manufacturing processes to support the company's growth, working closely with a small production team of 8. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build real experience in process improvement and new product introduction, with genuine progression into full operational leadership as you develop in the role.What You'll Be DoingDesign, set up and scale manufacturing processes to meet growing customer demandSupport new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process developmentInterpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to guide productionDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologySupport production planning, scheduling and resource allocationContribute to health & safety standards across the manufacturing operationHelp maintain and improve quality management systems in line with ISO 9001Work closely with the Managing Director and wider team, taking on growing responsibility for team leadership over timeWhat We're Looking ForEssential:Based in the UK with the legal right to work in the UKStrong background in manufacturing or production engineeringExperience setting up, improving or scaling manufacturing processesLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement experienceAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsUnderstanding of ISO 9001 quality management systemsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGenuine ambition to progress into a production leadership roleDesirable:Experience with fine wire assemblies, precision assembly or electronics assemblyExperience within sensor manufacturing, instrumentation or industrial manufacturingKnowledge of RTDs, thermocouples, mineral insulated assemblies or related technologiesExperience supporting new product introduction (NPI)Experience training, mentoring or informally leading colleaguesDegree in Manufacturing EngineeringWhat's On OfferSalary up to £45,000 depending on experienceA genuine path into a Production Manager role as you grow into itFlexible working hours, with reduced hours on Fridays36.5 hour working week25 days annual leaveCompany pension schemeFree on-site parkingCompany workwear providedOngoing training and professional developmentModern manufacturing facilitiesSupportive, collaborative management teamIf this sounds like the right move for you, apply now.TPBN1_UKTJ
