Morson Edge are working with a well known contractor who are seeking a freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their Energy division.Role - Quantity SurveyorIdeal start date - 03/08/2026End date - 29/01/2027Rate - Around £450pd (negotiable for right candidate) INSIDE IR35 - Via Umbrella.Location - Waltham CrossThe roleSupport the preparation of reports, claims, and commercial documentation within agreed timescales while maintaining strong relationships with Business Unit and Project ManagersMonitor project risks, maintain risk registers, and ensure effective subcontractor and supplier management, including quotations, valuations, variations, claims, and final accountsAssist in managing compensation events, contract costs, and project profitability through identification of variations, delays, and claimsContribute to financial reporting, forecasting, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyAttend project meetings, develop commercial records and manuals, and work closely with commercial and project teamsEnsure compliance with company procedures and Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies, undertaking additional duties as required to support business and customer needs.To be considered for this role please send updated CVs toTPBN1_UKTJ
