Job Description
To carry out the appropriate training tasks required to attain a craft apprenticeship as a Painter & Decorator.
\nRequirements\n
To undertake craft training duties as directed by the Repairs/Contracts Supervisor.
\nTo attend College and carry out off site training as required.
\nTo comply with all Health and Safety and security procedures and guidelines.
\nTo undertake any other duties as may be reasonably expected from time to time.

Minimum of 3 Standard Grades in technical or art/design subject at Grade 3 or above
\nCapable of working on own or as a team member
\nAbility to attend College as part of Training
\nGood communication skills
\nEnthusiastic
\nCourteous
\nPhysical fitness appropriate to undertaking tasks
\n\n
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our Building Services team at the DLO, that directly employ over 150 multi trade and specialist support staff. Services provided include building maintenance and improvement services to the Council’s 6,300 houses, as well as reactive and planned maintenance too other Council building that includes schools, offices and libraries.
\nMoray Council provides an excellent package for apprentices including on & off site training, provision of personal protective equipment and tools.
