Full-Time Core Subject Teaching Assistant - Southwark Location: Southwark, London Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong academic background and a passion for supporting pupils to achieve their full potential? The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a school setting, strong knowledge of core subjects, and a genuine commitment to helping students thrive. A degree is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Supporting students across core subjects, including English, Maths and Science Providing targeted one-to-one and small-group academic support Working closely with teachers to help students overcome learning barriers Assisting with classroom activities and contributing to a positive learning environment Encouraging students' confidence, engagement and academic progress Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where appropriate Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar education role Strong subject knowledge, particularly across core subjects A degree is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive, proactive and supportive approach A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeedIf you are an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time opportunity in a supportive Southwark school with genuine opportunities to develop your career, we would love to hear from you! #INDLSS
