Working alongside the Electrical and C&I Engineers, you will lead mechanical engineering and maintenance activities to maximise plant availability, protect asset value and support the site's safety, environmental and financial targets.Roles and ResponsibilitiesLeading and supporting the site's Mechanical TechniciansPlanning and delivering preventative, planned and reactive maintenanceFault-finding and maintenance across pumps, valves, gearboxes, compressors and conveyorsManaging statutory inspections and compliance with PSSR, LOLER and PUWERSupporting planned outages, shutdowns and plant improvement projectsMaintaining accurate records through the CMMSManaging contractors, site stores and the mechanical workshopWorking closely with operations, electrical and C&I teamsExperience and QualificationsMechanical engineering apprenticeship with an HNC/HND or equivalentMaintenance / engineering experience within heavy process environments – power generation, steel making, petrochemical, refining etcPrevious supervisory or team leadership experienceStrong knowledge of industrial mechanical plant and maintenance practicesExperience using a CMMS and working within relevant safety legislationWhat's on Offer?Excellent basic salary depending on experienceAnnual bonusPrivate medical coverCompany pensionThe chance to join the growing EFW industryFor further information or to apply please contact Steve at SCINERGY Recruitment on 02030 386 115 or emailTPBN1_UKTJ
