Location: Near Royston, Hertfordshire Working Environment: Workshop-basedMust have own transport / be able to drive due to locationJob Description We are looking for a skilled or semi-skilled Trailer Builder to join our client's workshop team based near Royston, Hertfordshire. This is a hands-on role building bespoke catering trailers and specialist conversions.This is not an entry-level position . The successful candidate must have previous workshop, trade, fabrication, carpentry, fitting, or construction experience and be confident using hand and power tools.You will be working as part of a small team, carrying out high-quality builds from start to finish, with the opportunity to develop further skills within a specialist industry.Key Responsibilities Building and fitting bespoke trailer interiors and structuresInstalling walls, floors, counters, cladding, and internal fittingsCarrying out fabrication, preparation, and assembly workMeasuring, cutting, and fitting materials accuratelyWorking from drawings, plans, and measurementsUsing hand and power tools safely and effectivelyEnsuring all work is completed to a high-quality standardWorking independently while supporting the wider workshop teamSkills & Experience Required Previous experience in a hands-on trade or workshop environmentExperience in areas such as fabrication, carpentry, joinery, fitting, conversions, coachbuilding, or similarConfident using hand and power toolsGood understanding of measurements and working from drawingsStrong attention to detail and pride in producing quality workReliable, hardworking, and able to work with minimal supervisionTrailer experience is not required as full specialist training will be provided.
