Through innovative and purpose-driven approaches, we aim to challenge traditional norms and create a pathway for those who might be overlooked by conventional financial institutions.The Role:As our Project Manager youll lead the successful delivery of key technology transformation projects across the organisation, taking ownership of project scope, timelines, budgets and outcomes. Youll work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure projects are delivered effectively and in line with organisational priorities.Working with clients, stakeholders and delivery teams, youll apply Agile and traditional project management approaches to maintain progress, manage risks and ensure delivery remains on track and within budget.The role requires a hands-on approach, including the completion of project support activities such as reporting, requirements gathering, process mapping and maintaining project documentation.This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys leading teams, resolving delivery challenges and driving successful technology project outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage detailed project plans, clearly defining scope, timelines, deliverables and resource requirements in line with organisational objectives.Ensure all project activities are delivered in accordance with organisational policies, procedures and PMO standards.Ensure project delivery complies with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and professional standards.Lead and coordinate project teams, assigning responsibilities, supporting delivery and driving progress against agreed milestones.Monitor, track and report on project performance, including progress against timelines, budgets, resources, risks and key deliverables.Develop and maintain project documentation, templates, forms and records to support effective governance and delivery.Oversee the accurate collection, maintenance and storage of project-related records and client information in line with organisational confidentiality and privacy policies.Ensure project personnel records are appropriately maintained, securely stored and treated confidentially.Identify, assess and manage risks associated with project activities, implementing appropriate controls and mitigation actions.Manage the project closure process, including completion of documentation, capture of lessons learned, transition to business-as-usual and stakeholder handover.Qualifications (minimum):Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Project Manager in a fast-paced environment, preferably within financial services (mortgages specifically)Strong understanding of SDLC and application delivery.Experience with Agile and traditional PM methodologies.Excellent communication, presentation and training delivery skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and with different learning stylesAbility to multi-task and deliver multiple projects on an ongoing basisExcellent attention to detail, analytical and data interrogationHighly proficient in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and WordUp to date and working knowledge of all relevant legislation and regulation as stipulated by the FCAMust be prepared to complete requirement gathering, process mapping, project documentation etc themselves and not rely on stakeholders or support to completeHeres what youll get back:Up to 25 days annual leave + Bank HolidaysYour birthday off, every year!A healthcare cash planA contributory pensions scheme, matched up to 5%Long Service AwardsCycle to work schemeLife AssuranceCompany Culture:Join us on our journey to redefine financial inclusivity.
