HGV Class 1 Driver – Avonmouth, BristolPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Avonmouth, Bristol . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver , LGV Class 1 Driver , Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver .Shifts• Four shifts over seven days• 12-hour shifts• PM start times between 17:00 – 18:00• Rolling three-week rotaRates of Pay• £18.60 - £39.96 per hourBenefitsAs an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will receive:• Excellent hourly rates• Weekly pay• Ongoing work• Site canteen• Training provided• Immediate starts available• Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day DutiesAs an HGV Class 1 Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to):• Completing Class 1 multi-drop deliveries• Operating Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently• Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections• Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly and assisting with loading and unloading when required• Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations• Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements• Maintaining a good understanding of Health and Safety legislation, Food Safety standards and UK road networksEssential SkillsAs an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need:• Valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence• Minimum of twelve months' Category C+E driving experience• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)• Valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• Good spoken and written English• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping• Strong understanding of UK road traffic laws• Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience• Previous commercial driving experienceTraining Provided• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignmentApplyIf you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver, apply today by clicking below.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
