Production Operative - YorkImmediate Starts Available | Seasonal Temporary ContractManpower is currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our client based in York.We have exciting opportunities available within a busy food manufacturing environment and are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who enjoy working as part of a team.These positions are initially offered on a seasonal temporary basis , with work guaranteed until the end of September 2026 . While there may be opportunities for the assignment to continue beyond this period, we cannot guarantee ongoing employment and prefer to be transparent from the outset.Available PositionsProduction OperativeShift Pattern: 2 days 2 nights on, 4 days offHours: 6:00am - 6:00pm / 6pm - 6:00amPay Rate: £14.80 per hour days / £15.80 ph nights12-hour shiftsAll breaks paidMain DutiesMoving pallets of bagged shell around the production areaSupporting the Production Team within the Green AreaReceiving inbound goods and recording deliveries on the company systemBasic computer work and data entryCarrying out routine walk-round checks of the plant areaMaintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeepingAssisting with general production and warehouse duties as requiredWhat We're Looking ForPrevious production, manufacturing, warehouse or factory experienceFood manufacturing experience would be advantageousGood level of computer literacyReliable and flexible approach to workStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) licence/certificate would be highly desirable .
