Associate Director

Our client, a well-established construction consultancy with a strong presence across Scotland, is seeking an Associate Director to join their Edinburgh office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to step into a senior leadership role with genuine progression toward Director level.

Responsibilities of the Associate Director:

• Leading and managing a portfolio of high-value projects from feasibility through to final account
\n
• Mentoring and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors and Cost Managers
\n
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on business development
\n
• Taking ownership of commercial reporting, risk management, and cost control across projects
\n
• Working closely with Directors on strategic growth of the Edinburgh office
\n

Requirements of the Associate Director

\n
• MRICS qualified (essential)
\n
• Strong background in quantity surveying/cost management within a consultancy setting
\n
• Proven experience managing projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, or public sector
\n
• Demonstrable leadership and mentoring experience
\n
• Ambition to progress toward Director level
\n
