\nMTrec Technical are representing our well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing client in their search for an experienced Stock Controller.

\nThe Job you will do:
\n- \n
- Perpetual Inventory of all incoming materials \n
- Analysis and reconciliation of actual vs. planned consumption. \n
- Investigation and rectification of inventory discrepancies. \n
- Issue periodic QA/NC sheet (relating to ‘Hold’ or Non-Conforming Stock) (typically monthly). \n
- Carry out periodic QA/NC stock count (typically monthly). \n
- Control QA/NC stocks relevant to area of responsibility. \n
- Identify and support Procurement teams with the control of slow-moving and aged stocks. \n
- Record and track data, monitor trends and report upwards to other stakeholders (eg Finance, Procurement, Technical) for stock variances and write-offs to determine hitherto unidentified wastage and accurate usages. \n
- Control of trial materials. \n
- Control of rework processes. \n
- Devise and monitor processes to check that stock returned from production is identified and put away accurately. \n
- Regular check of Bill of Materials for accuracy against actual production outputs. \n
- Liaise with Technical / Quality teams to arrange disposal of material or returns to suppliers in accordance with documented procedures. \n
- Cover for other Stock Controllers and/or Stock Control Team Leader during holidays or other absences. \n
About you:
\n- \n
- Good verbal and written communication skills. \n
- Excellent IT literacy; proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential. \n
- Experience of and a high level of proficiency working with CPMS/WMS systems, preferably SAP. \n
- Recent Inventory Control experience is essential, ideally a minimum of 3 year’s recent experience in manufacturing environments. \n
- Ability to work unsupervised. \n
- Problem-solving skills. \n
- Genuine curiosity and determination to resolve discrepancies. \n
- Ability to make the correct decision when pressurised. \n
