Email Marketing Executive
Job Description
£240-£270 per day via umbrella | Email Marketing Executive | London Bridge | Hybrid: 2-3 days weekly, with UK remote considered (START ASAP)
\n\n- \n
- Have you built and scheduled high-volume email campaigns for a retail or consumer goods business? \n
- Can you interpret commercial briefs and work confidently within a fast-moving retail trading calendar? \n
- Have you supported email campaigns across multiple countries or territories? \n
The candidate
\n\nYou will suit this contract if you are an experienced Email Marketing Executive, CRM Executive or hands-on Email Marketing Manager with a strong retail background.
\nRetail experience will be prioritised. Candidates from consumer goods businesses may also be considered where they have delivered high-volume, promotion-led B2C email campaigns within a fast-moving commercial environment.
\nThis is not a purely technical email developer role. You must understand why campaigns are being sent, how they support trading priorities and when to question a brief that does not make commercial sense.
\nYou will be comfortable taking ownership, managing competing deadlines and delivering accurate work without extensive supervision.
\n\nThe opportunity
\n- \n
- You will provide immediate email marketing support to the CRM teams of a global retail clothing brand. \n
- The initial contract is for two months and could extend to three months. You will work primarily with the UK team while supporting campaigns across the UK, Germany, France, the US, Canada and Australia. \n
- The business operates at pace across multiple territories, teams and time zones. You will gain exposure to an established global CRM operation and make an immediate contribution while permanent recruitment is completed. \n
- The role is based near London Bridge, with an expected two to three days in the office each week. Strong UK-based remote candidates may be considered if they can travel to London for onboarding and occasional team collaboration. \n
The role
\nYour responsibilities will include:
\n- \n
- Building and scheduling BAU email campaigns \n
- Interpreting creative briefs and commercial campaign requirements \n
- Working within busy retail trading and promotional calendars \n
- Testing campaigns and completing detailed checks before deployment \n
- Coordinating with CRM, creative, ecommerce and marketing colleagues \n
- Managing deadlines across multiple international markets \n
- Supporting SMS and automated campaigns where required \n
- Identifying unclear instructions or commercial inconsistencies and resolving them proactively \n
- This is a hands-on delivery role without formal people-management responsibility. You should bring enough experience to become a dependable, safe pair of hands quickly and work effectively alongside both senior stakeholders and junior team members. \n
Required experience
\nYou must have:
\n- \n
- Hands-on email campaign building and scheduling experience \n
- Experience within retail or a closely related consumer goods business \n
- Experience delivering trading-led, promotional B2C campaigns \n
- The ability to interpret briefs rather than simply follow technical instructions \n
- Strong campaign testing and quality-assurance skills \n
- Excellent attention to detail and personal ownership \n
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrix environment \n
- Availability to start quickly \n
Desirable experience
\nGlobal or multi-market email campaign experience is highly desirable.
\nBloomreach, SMS, marketing automation and basic HTML or CSS experience would also be advantageous. Experience with a comparable CRM or email platform will be considered.
\n\nApply
\nPlease apply with your latest CV and include your availability, location and preferred working arrangement.
\nThere is a one-stage online interview process, and the business is prepared to move quickly for the right person.
\nNo sponsorship or relocation offered.
