\n The RoleAs a Relief Concrete Plant Supervisor, you'll be responsible for:\n

- Operating computerised batching systems to produce ready-mix concrete to customer specifications.
\n - Supporting Production Managers with the day-to-day running of multiple concrete plants.
\n - Carrying out daily inspections of safety-critical equipment.
\n - Operating loading shovels to replenish aggregate stock.
\n - Monitoring stock levels and ordering raw materials when required.
\n - Managing the safe movement of mixer, tipper and cement tanker vehicles on site.
\n - Supervising contractors and ensuring work is completed safely.
\n - Completing environmental compliance checks and maintaining accurate records.
\n - Driving high standards of housekeeping and carrying out routine preventative maintenance.
\n - Coaching and supporting operational teams while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
\n - Promoting a positive health, safety and environmental culture across all sites.
\n

\n
- \n
- Previous experience working within a concrete plant, quarry, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
\n - A good mechanical and/or electrical understanding of plant machinery.
\n - A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
\n - Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
\n - The flexibility to travel across multiple sites within the South West.
\n - A full UK driving licence (essential).
\n
