Job Description
Restaurant Manager required to join our client’s beautiful country house hotel set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. This modern, bustling and growing venue has a fantastic reputation, coupled with a loyal and steadily increasing customer base, and as a restaurant manager, personality is key. We are seeking an experienced restaurant manager with a positive, friendly personality, a calm manner, and a genuine passion for hospitality to be able to lead and influence your team in providing excellent service. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that customer service standards are met, and managing staff.

- Assist in any areas of the restaurant when staffing constraints require \n
- Manage operations with passion, integrity, and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of the hotel \n
- Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations \n
- Manage the restaurant to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness \n
- Provide direction to shift supervisors and staff to achieve restaurant goals \n
- Consistently review operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement. \n
- Identify and delegate responsibilities to staff to ensure objectives are met, and excellent service is consistently achieved \n
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff and assess performance on an ongoing basis \n
- Manage staffing levels through weekly schedule preparation \n
The Person

- Must possess previous restaurant management experience \n
- A strong team player with the ability to motivate your team and drive a positive staff culture. \n
- Key eye for detail \n
- Ensure staff are trained to a high standard, and foster positive morale throughout the business. \n
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations \n
- Knowledge of food production methods \n
- Extremely high attention to detail \n
- IT literate with previous experience of hospitality packages would be an advantage \n
