You will work across a diverse fleet of plant machinery, engines, and specialist equipment in a supportive, hands-on workshop environment.The Company:We are working with a leading specialist engineering contractor, providing innovative solutions on technically challenging civil, geotechnical, and structural projects across the UK.The Role:You will focus on routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and basic repair of workshop equipment.Day to day you will:\n

- Carry out routine servicing, basic mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance on workshop plant. \n
- Work across a broad mix of machinery, including small engines, compressors, track dumpers, excavators, hydraulic drills, and winches. \n
- Assist senior fitters with basic fault diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. \n
- Accompany senior fitters on occasional site visits to gain hands-on field experience. \n
- Record service and maintenance activity accurately \n

- Practical mechanical experience (e.g., Automotive Mechanics, HGV Technicians, Agricultural Machinery, Plant, Quarry, or Factory Maintenance backgrounds). \n
- A recently completed NVQ Level 1/2 or apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline is desirable but not essential. \n
- A valid UK Driving Licence. \n
