This top-ranked UK law firm, with offices across the South East including Reading, is looking to appoint an ambitious Corporate Solicitor (3–7 PQE) to join its highly regarded Corporate team. The Role

You'll advise on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, shareholder matters and general corporate advisory work. Working alongside experienced partners and colleagues, you'll take responsibility for your own matters while playing an active role on larger, more complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructuring projects
\n
• Support on high-value M&A transactions and strategic corporate matters
\n
• Manage your own portfolio of owner-managed businesses and corporate clients
\n
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing practical commercial advice
\n
• Assist with business development activities and help strengthen professional referral networks
\n
• Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
\n

• Advises on transactions ranging from £2 million to £30 million+

• Acts for a loyal and diverse client base including SMEs, large corporates, education providers and professional services firms

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for an ambitious Corporate Solicitor who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and is keen to continue developing technically while building strong client relationships.

You will have:

• 3–7 years PQE in corporate law
\n
• Strong experience advising on M&A transactions and general corporate matters
\n
• The ability to manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision on more complex matters
\n
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
\n
• A commercial and solutions-focused approach
\n
• A genuine interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development
\n
