\nThe Supply Register is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Community Academies Trust for a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join the team at Polesworth School from September 2026.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students through creative and engaging Art lessons in a supportive secondary school environment. The role is part-time, working 3 days per week, and is offered on a long-term basis.
The Role\nAs the successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Art lessons across the secondary age range, encouraging creativity, developing practical skills, and fostering a positive learning environment where all students can achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons in line with the national curriculum. \n
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback. \n
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment. \n
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students. \n
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management. \n
- Support students' creative development and encourage participation in the arts. \n
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community. \n
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all students. \n
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). \n
- Experience teaching Art within a UK secondary school. \n
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills. \n
- A passion for delivering engaging and creative lessons. \n
- A commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential. \n
- A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one). \n
