\nPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting Ayerst Environmental in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their growing team in Kent.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a well-established asbestos consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos services across the South East. The successful candidate will undertake a varied mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties.
THE ROLE\nAs an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will be responsible for carrying out both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a diverse portfolio of client sites throughout Kent and the surrounding region.
\nWorking independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will ensure all work is completed to the highest standard while maintaining full compliance with current HSE guidance and UKAS procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n- \n

Conducting Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
\n - \n
Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248
\n - \n
Producing accurate, detailed, and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
\n - \n
Carrying out bulk sampling and maintaining accurate site records
\n - \n
Working across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties
\n - \n
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
\n - \n
Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS standards
\n

BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)
\n - \n
Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
\n - \n
Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and UKAS requirements
\n - \n
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
\n - \n
Ability to manage workloads independently
\n - \n
Full UK driving licence
\n - \n
