This Speech & Language Teaching Assistant opportunity in Wilshire - Trowbridge is an excellent chance to gain meaningful, hands-on experience within a welcoming school while developing skills that can support a future career in Speech & Language Therapy, Educational Psychology, Teaching, Occupational Therapy or wider SEND provision.
\nAs a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant you will work alongside experienced teachers, SENCO's and Speech & Language Therapists to help children develop their communication skills, confidence and independent. This role is ideal for aspiring Speech & Language Therapists, Educational Psychologist, Teachers, SEND professionals looking to build practical experience
\n\nThe Role
\nAs a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant you will:

- Provide 1-1 and small group support for children with speech, language and communication needs \n
- Support children with Autism, Speech delays, social communication and language difficulties \n
- Support emotional regulation to helping children communication their needs effectively \n
- Adapt classroom activities to ensure children can access learning \n
