\nWe are seeking a dedicated Aspiring Child Counsellor/SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist provision within a mainstream secondary school based in Farnham. This role is ideal for anyone interested in becoming a Child Counsellor, as well as individuals with experience in education, care, or youth work, alongside recent or soon-to-be Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology graduates.
\n\nAbout the Role
\nAs an Aspiring Child Counsellor/LSA, you will support pupils with moderate learning difficulties in a structured and nurturing environment. This position in Farnham offers valuable, hands-on experience for an Aspiring Child Counsellor, providing exposure to emotional support, behaviour management, and therapeutic approaches.

- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs \n
- Support emotional regulation and wellbeing \n
- Assist with a personalised and flexible curriculum \n
- Work closely with teachers and SEN professionals \n
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils \n
- Help create a safe and supportive learning environment \n
