CNC Operator

Shift offered: Monday to Thursday 12pm to 10pmArrow Precision Engineering are the world leader in the manufacture of crankshafts and connecting rods. Quality, Innovation and Performance are the hallmarks of our business.We produce bespoke, race proven designs and are a family run business.We are looking to recruit a skilled CNC Operator who is passionate about Precision Engineering and looking for their next role. The position is based at our site in Hinckley, working 12pm to 10pm, Monday to Thursday (40 hours in total).Key Responsibilities include:Ensuring the set-up and operation of numerous multi axis mill turn and bed type and CNC grinding machines in accordance with H&S regulations and the process control planCNC machinist, operating and setting various Fanuc and Mazak, and Studer language machinesRunning secondary op machines when requiredUsing measuring equipment to ensure components meet specificationPerforming any other duties that may be required from time to timeSkill Set:A willingness to learn new skills and share ideas and knowledgeA positive, proactive and professional approachAbility to build and maintain successful relationships with colleaguesDemonstrates a high degree of integrity and a consistent approachAbility and willingness to work to targets and deadlinesFlexibility to work outside of normal contracted hours when production requiresAbility to work on your own and as part of a team.Qualification or Apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline.Excellent technical ability and attention to detail.Ability to follow processes, procedures and requirements of ISO9001Articulate communication skillsThe successful applicant will have a Qualification / Apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline.In return the Company offer a competitive salary, plus benefits which include Pension and Private Medical Insurance.If you think you meet the qualities for this role and you are looking for a new challenge, we would be keen to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
