An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Machine Operator / Improver to join a highly skilled engineering team.This role is ideally suited to someone with experience operating CNC machines who is now looking to progress into machine setting and, ultimately, programming.About the CompanyThis family-owned engineering business has built an excellent reputation within the industry. The company manufactures its own prestigious product range, supplying worldwide through its own distribution network, alongside providing sub-contract machining services across a variety of sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesFollowing job cards, procedures and instructions from team leadersOperating CNC milling and turning machinesInspecting components as they come off the machinesCompleting daily machine checksWorking accurately from engineering drawings and production methodsThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveExperience within a production or manufacturing environmentA good understanding of engineering drawingsKnowledge of CNC milling and turning processesExperience using inspection equipment such as micrometres and verniersAn understanding of an ISO9001 quality environmentBasic computer literacyA driven and motivated attitude with pride in their workThe ability to work under pressure when requiredWhat's on Offer40 hours per week with overtime available28 days holiday (including bank holidays)Health & wellbeing servicesEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFree on-site parkingStaff prize draw rafflesChristmas bonusSalary is dependent on level of experience , starting from £14 per hour .If you are looking to take the next step in your CNC engineering career, we would be keen to hear from you.
