\n\nRichmond Square Consulting is working exclusively with a successful, long-established multi-site business to recruit an IT Manager. This is a broad, visible role leading a small internal IT team, managing external technology partners and taking overall responsibility for the company’s IT systems, infrastructure, security and business-critical applications. The business has already undergone significant modernisation. They now need a practical, people-focused IT Manager who can maintain and improve what has been built, support future projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders at every level of the organisation.

- £75,000–£90,000 depending on experience. \n
- Company bonus. \n
- Pension. \n
- Full-time permanent position. \n
- Five days per week onsite \n
The role will include:
\n- \n
- Leading and developing a small internal IT support team. \n
- Managing the relationship with the external MSP and other technology suppliers. \n
- Taking ownership of infrastructure, networks, Microsoft 365, ERP systems and business-critical applications. \n
- Ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and properly supported. \n
- Overseeing cybersecurity, data protection, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity. \n
- Delivering IT and business systems projects, including ERP improvements, automation and digital transformation. \n
- Providing practical technology advice to senior stakeholders. \n
- Helping the business make better use of systems and data. \n
- Supporting approximately 25 operational locations, with occasional UK travel. \n
We are looking for:
\n- \n
- Previous experience as an IT Manager, Senior IT Manager, Head of IT or similar. \n
- Strong experience across infrastructure, networks, cloud technologies, cybersecurity and business systems. \n
- Experience managing ERP systems and delivering technology projects. \n
- Previous responsibility for internal teams, MSPs and external suppliers. \n
- A hands-on, practical approach combined with the ability to operate strategically. \n
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \n
- Experience within FMCG, food, manufacturing, agriculture, logistics or another multi-site environment would be advantageous, but is not essential. \n
- This role would suit somebody who enjoys being visible across a business, mentoring a developing team and taking genuine ownership of the technology function. \n
