Join our team as a Lecturer in Health & Social Care, where you will be responsible for teaching Health and Social Care programmes across levels 1, 2, and 3. This role is crucial in providing an outstanding service to learners, staff, and other stakeholders, and actively engaging in the development and promotion of the department's operational plan.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide effective and appropriate delivery of curriculum programmes for students under the direction of course managers.
  • \n
  • Be responsible for relevant documentation, statistical information, and administrative tasks as required.
  • \n
  • Contribute to the work of your curriculum teams through preparation of schemes of work, lesson and assessment plans, and delivery of the curriculum using a variety of teaching methods.
  • \n
  • Participate in student recruitment, induction activities, and liaise with parents, employers, schools, and other external agencies.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety procedures and maintain appropriate levels of conduct.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in teaching Health and Social Care at various levels.
  • \n
  • Strong commitment to professional development and current developments within the curriculum area.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work closely with tutors and other areas of the College on matters concerning student progress, support, and guidance.
  • \n
