\nLocation: Rotherham Hospice
\nSalary: £25,331 - £30,960 per annum
\nHours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm
\nContract type: Permanent

\nPurpose of the Role
\nTo support the organisation's effective use of data, systems and technology by maintaining accurate data records, producing reports and insights, and providing first-line IT support to colleagues. The role will spend approximately 60% of its time supporting data management activities and 40% providing IT support and system administration.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nData Management
\n- \n
- Maintain accurate records across organisational databases and systems. \n
- Perform regular data cleansing, validation and quality assurance checks. \n
- Produce routine reports, dashboards and performance information. \n
- Support departments with data extraction and analysis requests. \n
- Develop and maintain data collection processes and procedures. \n
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and organisational data governance requirements. \n
- Identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for service improvement through data analysis. \n
- Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements. \n
- Assist with the development and maintenance of KPI reporting. \n
- Create and update system documentation and user guides. \n
IT Support
\n- \n
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software and user issues. \n
- Set up new users, devices, accounts and permissions. \n
- Troubleshoot common IT problems and escalate complex issues where required. \n
- Assist with the management of printers, telephones, mobile devices and peripherals. \n
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and user administration. \n
- Maintain IT asset registers and equipment inventories. \n
- Assist with software updates and system testing. \n
- Support meeting room technology and video conferencing systems. \n
- Liaise with external IT support providers and vendors. \n
- Promote cyber security awareness and good IT practices. \n
Person Specification
\nEssential
\n- \n
- Experience working with databases, spreadsheets and data management systems. \n
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills. \n
- Experience producing reports and analysing data. \n
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. \n
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills. \n
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users. \n
- Understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements. \n
- Customer-focused approach. \n
Desirable
\n- \n
- Experience of CRM systems. (Beacon) \n
- Experience of Power BI or dashboard reporting tools. \n
- Experience of Microsoft 365 administration. \n
- Experience working within healthcare, charity or hospice environments. \n
- Knowledge of cyber security principles. \n
- Knowledge of TPP Systmone \n
