Modern Foreign Languages Tutor

The Role

\n

We're looking for Modern Foreign Languages Tutors to support children and young people across Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh, Winchester, and the surrounding areas through personalised 1:1 tuition.

\n

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll support learners who require alternative educational provision, helping them develop their language skills, improve confidence, and make progress towards their individual learning goals.

\n

Many students benefit from a flexible, tailored approach to learning, making this a rewarding opportunity for tutors who enjoy adapting their teaching style and building positive relationships with learners.

Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, mentoring, learning support, or similar roles
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of one or more Modern Foreign Languages
  • \n
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions
  • \n
  • Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
  • \n
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • \n
  • Patient, adaptable, and organised approach
  • \n
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • \n
  • Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally
  • \n
