Job Description
Join a fantastic Sheffield based organisation and play a vital role in supporting the safe, efficient, and effective operation of their offices. This 3-6 month contract opportunity is ideal for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys a varied role combining facilities management, health and safety administration, and general office support. As a Health & Safety and Facilities Administrator, you will work closely with our Support Services Team, managers, and colleagues across the organisation to help maintain a safe and compliant working environment. The ideal candidate will have IOSH Managing Safely certification, however, this is not essential. Please note: this is a part-time role working 14-21 hours per week.
\nKey Duties

- Monitor facilities-related risks, hazards, and maintenance issues across offices, ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors. \n
- Support health and safety compliance by assisting with risk assessments, policy implementation, reporting, and record keeping. \n
- Coordinate small repairs and maintenance tasks, liaising with colleagues, contractors, and landlords to resolve issues effectively. \n
- Provide administrative and operational support to the wider Support Services Team, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. \n
Person Specification

- Practical facilities management skills, including basic premises maintenance and confident use of ICT systems and software. \n
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements, with the ability to support compliance activities and risk management processes. \n
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records. \n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, managers, and external stakeholders. \n
