\n Pertemps Reading are recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a leading logistics and distribution operation in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with immediate starts, full training and genuine long-term opportunities.\n

\n Please note: All successful candidates must pass a Drug & Alcohol test as part of the induction process.\n
\n
The Role\n
\n As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:\n
\n

\n
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
\n
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
\n
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse using pallet trucks (full training provided).
\n
• Receiving, checking and putting away incoming goods.
\n
• Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring accurate labelling.
\n
• Breaking down cardboard and operating the baler.
\n
• Carrying out stock checks and general warehouse duties.
\n
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
\n
• Following all health and safety procedures while working to quality and productivity standards.
\n

\n What We're Looking For\n

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
\n
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
\n
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
