c£50,000 - Senior Patent Paralegal (London)

Our client, a well-established Intellectual Property firm, is looking to recruit an experienced Patent Paralegal to join their busy team. This is a varied role supporting Patent Attorneys with all aspects of patent formalities and prosecution.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing and filing UK, EP and PCT patent applications.
\n
• Managing deadlines, docketing and maintaining accurate case records.
\n
• Handling EP grant formalities, validations and prosecution matters.
\n
• Liaising with clients, attorneys and overseas associates.
\n
• Preparing reports, correspondence and portfolio updates.
\n
• Providing general administrative and paralegal support to the patent team.
\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\n
• Previous experience in a Patent Paralegal or intellectual property support role within private practice.
\n
• Good working knowledge of UKIPO, EPO and PCT procedures.
\n
• Experience using IP management systems such as Inprotech or Patricia.
\n
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
\n
