Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) – Property law.

Looking to step away from fee-earning while staying at the forefront of commercial property and residential conveyancing law?

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded legal team in a strategic Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) position. This role sits at the centre of both Commercial and Residential Property teams, driving technical excellence, knowledge sharing, training, and innovation.

You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining precedents, delivering legal training, supporting complex technical queries, and ensuring teams remain up to date with legislative and regulatory changes. The role also offers the chance to play a key part in legal technology initiatives, process improvement projects, and the overall development of best practice across the department.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining precedents, templates and guidance materials
\n
• Providing technical legal support and research on complex property matters
\n
• Delivering training and supporting the development of lawyers at all levels
\n
• Monitoring and communicating legal and regulatory updates
\n
• Contributing to client updates, thought leadership and business development initiatives
\n
• Supporting legal tech adoption and process improvement projects
\n
• Encouraging collaboration and consistency across teams
\n

About you:

\n
• 6+ years' PQE in Commercial Property and/or Residential Property
\n
• Previous PSL experience, or a strong fee-earner seeking a move into a knowledge-focused role
\n
• Excellent technical property law expertise
\n
• Strong drafting, research and communication skills
\n
• Experience delivering training or mentoring colleagues
\n
• Proactive, organised and commercially aware
\n
