Job Description
We're looking for a Part Qualified Management Accountant/ Finance Manager to join a growing, service-led organisation. This is a broad, hands-on role that combines management accounting with day-to-day finance operations, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic financial reporting and getting involved in the detail.
\nReporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting forecasting and cash flow, maintaining strong financial controls, and partnering with operational teams to drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Prepare weekly KPI reports and monthly management accounts with insightful commentary. \n
- Analyse financial performance, investigate variances and support budgeting and forecasting. \n
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset records and cash flow reporting. \n
- Oversee revenue recognition, VAT returns and compliance with accounting policies. \n
- Support cash collection and monitor customer balances. \n
- Ensure the accuracy of financial data within accounting systems and maintain robust financial controls. \n
- Partner with non-finance stakeholders, providing financial guidance and support. \n
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and finance improvement projects. \n
- Support transactional finance activities when required, including invoicing, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and payment runs. \n

- Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or in a similar all-round finance role. \n
- AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, or qualified through relevant experience. \n
- Strong management accounting skills, including month-end reporting, forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow management. \n
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero (or similar) and advanced Excel skills. \n
- Highly organised with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. \n
- Confident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders. \n
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the flexibility to support both strategic and transactional finance activities. \n
