You take pride in keeping production lines running efficiently, developing high-performing teams, and embedding best practices across shifts.What we are looking for:Experienced in food or FMCG manufacturing , ideally within bakery, biscuits, or similar environments.A confident, people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting.Strong commitment to food safety and quality , ideally with HACCP Level 3, Food Safety Level 3, and IOSH qualifications (or willing to train).Organized, proactive, and approachable, with great communication skills.About the RoleAs Day Area Manager, you'll lead critical production lines, ensuring machinery reliability while developing and supporting a team of 25+. You'll coordinate across departments and manage internal and external stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.Your responsibilities will include:Leading daily operations on creams and bakery production linesManaging machinery breakdowns and repairs (creamers, ZDIs, etc.)Leading, coaching, and developing a team of 25+ colleaguesEngaging with Hygiene, NPD, and other departments to ensure smooth operationsDriving continuous improvement and embedding operational best practicesEnsuring compliance with HACCP, IOSH, and food safety standardsManaging contractors and supporting operational auditsWhy Join Us?We've been baking in Uttoxeter for decades, and our biscuits are loved nationwide.
