Life on the team Ideally Nottingham, however Hatfield or Milton consideredFull-time on-siteAt Computacenter, youll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking Application Packaging team that supports some of our most high-profile and secure customers.Based from one of our UK offices in Hatfield, Nottingham or Milton Keynes, youll work alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic, agile environment.We foster innovation, professional development, and a shared commitment to excellence in everything we do.What youll doAs an Application Packager, youll play a key role in ensuring the efficient configuration and deployment of software applications.Youll work with modern packaging technologies and follow best practices to meet the needs of our customers, maintaining high quality and compatibility standards. From scripting and testing to process improvement and documentation, your input will directly influence our project success. Your responsibilities will include:Packaging applications to agreed formats (MSIX, MSI, App-V) in line with customer standardsEnsuring compatibility across environments and meeting defined quality benchmarksCollaborating within Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to continuous improvementUsing PowerShell and scripting tools to automate and streamline processesSupporting deployment using MECM/Intune and understanding full application lifecycleDocumenting processes and solutions to industry and customer standardsWhat youll needWe're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong technical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will bring:Essential Experience & Skills:3+ years of hands-on application packaging and scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.)Expertise in MSI, App-V, MSIX technologiesStrong experience with MECM/Intune deployment toolsSolid understanding of application lifecycle managementAgile/Scrum project experienceAbility to work independently and influence stakeholdersFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel as requiredSC clearance eligibilityDesirable skillsExperience with Omnissa Workspace One, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AutomationFamiliarity with scripting tools like Python, Ansible, ShellUnderstanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and automation toolsAwareness of ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 27000 standardsIf you're looking for a role where your technical expertise makes a real impactand you want to grow within a company that values innovation and collaborationwed love to hear from you.Join Computacenter and help shape the future of enterprise software delivery.TPBN1_UKTJ
