Job Title: Night Shift ManagerLocation: RenfrewshireSalary: CompetitiveAbout the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and driven Night Shift Manager to oversee the efficient running of manufacturing operations during night shifts. This role is critical to ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and support your team while driving continuous improvement across health & safety, quality, and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and promote a strong health & safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and completion of pre-shift checksDrive production performance by delivering against plans, monitoring KPIs, and addressing risks to outputEnsure consistent product quality through effective checks and prompt resolution of defectsCoordinate with maintenance teams to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtimeMaintain a clean, organised, and audit-ready working environmentOversee stock control, inventory checks, and accurate documentationManage team performance including attendance, holidays, return-to-work processes, and payroll-related administrationSupport recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of team membersProvide coaching, training, and competency assessments to build team capabilityEncourage continuous improvement by identifying issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actionsBuild strong cross-functional relationships to ensure smooth operational flowWhat Were Looking ForExperience leading teams within a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong understanding of KPIs and operational performance metricsCommitment to health & safety and maintaining high-quality standardsExcellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentCalm and effective under pressure with strong problem-solving abilityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood IT skillsA continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approachA leadership style that motivates, develops, and engages team membersIf you would like to be considered for the role, please contact Diane Smedley-Nisbet atTPBN1_UKTJ
