Your new companyAt Hays Education, we are delighted to be working with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Blackpool to recruit a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher for a long-term position starting in September.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a supportive school environment where pupil progress, wellbeing, and high-quality teaching are at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.Your new roleAs the Year 4 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • \n
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellent learning behaviours.
  • \n
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
  • \n
  • Support pupils through the transition into upper Key Stage 2 by building strong foundations in core subjects.
  • \n
  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
  • \n
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour, attainment, and personal development.
  • \n

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • \n
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally across Lower KS2.
  • \n
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • \n
  • Be committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.
  • \n
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • \n
  • Be passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that motivate and challenge pupils.
  • \n
