A friendly and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a committed Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years team on a permanent basis. Working alongside experienced teachers and practitioners, you'll help deliver engaging learning experiences, nurture children's development and create a positive, stimulating classroom environment where every child can flourish.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Support children's learning through engaging, play-based activities.
  • \n
  • Help create a safe, welcoming and stimulating Early Years environment.
  • \n
  • Work alongside teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • \n
  • Encourage children's social, emotional and academic development.
  • \n
  • Observe, monitor and contribute to children's progress and wellbeing.
  • \n
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
  • \n

The Ideal Candidate

\n

We're looking for someone who:

\n
    \n
  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, or a degree in Education or another child-related subject.
  • \n
  • Has previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
  • \n
  • Demonstrates a warm, patient and nurturing approach.
  • \n
  • Communicates confidently with children, parents and colleagues.
  • \n
  • Is organised, dependable and enjoys working as part of a team.
  • \n
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
  • \n
