REED FE are seeking an Electrical Training Instructor/Assessor to join a well-established training provider delivering high-quality electrical courses and assessments to adult learners. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Electrical Tutor or a qualified electrician looking to move into a teaching and assessing role.

The Role of an Electrical Tutor

  • Deliver practical and classroom-based electrical training for adult learners

  • Support learners through qualifications and assessments
  • \n
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
  • \n
  • Share industry knowledge and best practice
  • \n
  • Create an engaging and supportive learning environment

Essential Qualifications to hold for this role

\n
    \n
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment, or equivalent
  • \n
  • Level 3 Award in Electrical Installation Inspection, Testing, Certification and Reporting
  • \n
  • Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671 / 18th Edition)
  • \n

  • Strong hands-on electrical installation experience
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • \n
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • \n

  • Passion for supporting learners to achieve their goals

Desirable but Not Essential

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Tutor, Trainer or Assessor
  • \n
  • AM2 assessment experience
  • \n
  • PTLLS, A1 Assessor or equivalent teaching qualifications
  • \n
\n
